Sara's first book was Lane to Heaven, the story of a small-town female minister embroiled in a battle to save her reputation … and the man determined to ruin her.  Lane to Heaven was published in hardcover by Five Star in March 2007.

In November 2007, Sara published Path to Popular through Amazon Shorts.  This short story follows the struggles of a secondary teen character from Lane to Heaven.  In shifting from adult romance to young adult, Sara has discovered a new depth of refreshing, sincere emotions in her teen characters.
