MAUREEN LANG

Maureen Lang photoBelieving every great story includes a romance, Maureen Lang loves to spin tales around this important element. Finding a new and convincing vehicle to keep the hero and heroine apart is the challenge. In Pieces of Silver, the vehicle was mistrust and betrayal. In the sequel, Remember Me, loyalty and patriotism work for and against the hero and heroine. In The Oak Leaves the vehicle is fear of a genetic disorder and in its sequel, On Sparrow Hill, it’s the gap between social classes and the modern day dilemma of whether to choose a career over marriage—only this choice must be made by a Victorian Englishwoman living in Ireland in the early 1850’s. Angst! Can’t write a book without it! Maureen is married and mom to three kids and lives in the Midwest. She’s the recipient of a Golden Heart, Noble Theme and a Christy finalist (2007).
