Christie Ridgway has published over twenty-five contemporary romances for Silhouette, Harlequin, Avon, and Berkley Books. She's a three-time Rita finalist and her titles have appeared on the USA Today bestseller list, and both the Waldenbooks mass market and romance bestseller lists.
Christie's a voracious reader and loves discussing the craft of writing. She has spoken on several aspects of the process as well as the romance market itself to many groups, including RWA chapters around the country and jam-packed rooms at the national conference.
A native of California, Christie graduated with a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She worked as a technical writer and computer programmer before pursuing her dream of becoming a romance author. And what a dream job it is! Creative, flexible work hours, and a good excuse to avoid housework and cooking on a regular basis.
Christie's December 2006 book, MUST LOVE MISTLETOE, is a finalist in RWA's 2007 RITA contest. It was followed in January by NOT ANOTHER NEW YEAR’S, two books in which hearts and holidays collide.
