Margaret Watson has always made up stories in her head. For a long time, she assumed that everyone else did, too, and was surprised to find that many people think this is a peculiar thing to do.
When she was twelve, she decided she wanted to be a writer, but got sidetracked by her love of animals and the need for a "real" job and became a veterinarian instead. Eighteen years ago, realizing she was now making up stories about her clients and their pets, she decided to try putting them down on paper. That first effort still sits on the closet shelf, but it did teach her one thing - that writing is what she wants to do.
Her first book was PERSONAL BEST, published by Meteor Publishing Company in June of 1991 for their Kismet line. After writing thirteen books for Silhouette Intimate Moments, she is now writing Harlequin Superromances. Her next Superromance, STRANGER IN A SMALL TOWN, will be released in December, 2007. It features secondary characters from her May, 2007 release, SMALL TOWN FAMILY. In 2008 she´ll begin a new trilogy about triplet sisters.
Margaret considers herself the luckiest person in the world to be involved in two careers that she loves. But more important than either career is her family − her husband and her three daughters. They live in Naperville, Illinois with a menagerie of pets.
